It was Doris’s first time staying away from us to have a mini break with Maxine and Pete as a doggy mum I was worried how she would be.
I needn’t have Doris, was so well looked after and spoilt she was treated like part of the family, the daily updates were lovely and reassured me no end.
I can’t recommend Maxine and Pete enough , Doris is looking forward to her next stay. thank you both for taking such good care of her, so much so she now expects popcorn whilst watching the X factor Maxine. Xx

To say we were nervous about having a dog walker after a change in work commitments is a bit of an understatement!
I have known Maxine for quite a while, but Meka isn’t the easiest dog in the world so we were worried about how it would go. We had no need to worry!! Maxine is brilliant and Meka took a shine to her straight away. It made the whole situation a whole lot stressful and Meka loves her walks 🙂

I left my puppy Otis for 3 days he had a fab time loads of walks and cuddles really well looked after Maxine even gave me a little bag with one of Otis’ baby teeth in she found nice touch would definitely recommend a x will be using again thank you Peter and Maxine xx

Brilliant family and people to look after Princess Daisy, we left her for 6 nights and only weeks into her recovery from her leg operation and we couldn’t be happier!
Nothing was too much trouble and she got the extra care she needed. As she couldn’t go on long walks she was included in the walk by having a ride in a dog buggy they had gone to extra effort to rent for her. Very happy pooch

Well it was the first time i had ever left my dog Boris with anyone he didn’t know, so I was nervous about it… But there was no need to be, he settled in great and was welcomed as though he was Pete’s and Max’s own dog. Since picking him up he’s been fast asleep so he’s definately had a good time with Buddy and Nora
I had updates and photos throughout the week which put me at ease seeing him enjoying himself and was assured he was doing great. Boris wouldn’t eat his own food (which he’s had for moths and always eats!), so Max tried him with some of Buddy and Nora’s food which he ate!
I thought it was great that they would use their own doggys food to try and get him to eat
Would highly recommend Happy Dog Sitting if you want your dog to be looked after like they’re part if the family! Thanks again guys
